NSW Hang Gliding State Titles 2025 Prize Money

The NSW Hang Gliding State Titles 2025 is just around the corner, and we are thrilled to see pilots signing up for the Open, Kingpost and Floater classes. If you haven’t signed up yet, do it now!
We are eager to encourage new and upcoming pilots to join the competition. Along with all class winners being eligible for trophies, prizes from our sponsors, and day prizes, the Kingpost and Floater divisions can win money this year!
The NHGC is excited to announce we have $2000 prize money on offer to the pilots who are new winners (that have not previously won or come second) in both the Kingpost and Floater classes- 1st Place will win $500, 2nd Place will win $300 and 3rd Place will win $200*.
*Eligibility
- prize money is not for advanced pilots (it’s for the ‘newbies’).
-any previous first or second-place Kingpost or Floater class winners cannot win prize money. (Please note: Although all previous first or second-place winners are not eligible to receive prize money, they will get a trophy and prizes from our sponsors for their win).
-to win the prize money, the winning pilots must show good sportsmanship and adhere to the competition rules and directions of the Competition Director and Meet-Head. Eligibility will be at the discretion of the Competition Committee.
