The New South Wales Hang Gliding State Titles is an AA Grade hang gliding competition held each February in Manilla, Australia's premier foot launch X-C soaring site.

This summer season, the NSW State Titles will be held from 18th to 24th February 2018 with sign in and practice day on Saturday 17th February 2018. The comp attracts the best of the best from Australia, and around the world, so is the ideal site for up and coming pilots to learn from those at the top of their game. It is also the ideal comp for newer pilots wishing to fly big air and fly big flights.

NSW pilots site fee to Mt Borah is covered by the NSWHPA. Pilots competing from other states will be covered from their competition entry fee. Casual Flyers Casual free flyers are welcome providing they register as a wind tech. This ensure you are provided with information similar the competition pilots (site briefing, turn direction etc etc) and we have an opportunity to provide a site induction, check the currency of your pilots licence and we can provide information and assistance to the wind tech. The benefits are mutual and this also allows the Organiser, the Comp Director and the Launch Marshall the opportunity to ensure a fair, safe and competitive competition without the risk of breaching the sanction and respects the commitment of competitors. Please note that there are limitations to your flying as a windtech. If you wish to fly without these limitations, please purchase a competition entry (which will then allow to fly the competition properly). Notes Do not land in fields with crops ever! Do not land in fields with live stock wherever possible. There is ample landing area that has no crops or stock, do not upset the landholders. Check and double check landing areas. Single strand electrical wires abound in this area and are invisible from the air. They may span for extreme distances across paddocks with very few poles. Any buildings, dams and especially pump houses should be treated with extreme suspicion. All households in this area use UHF CB for communications when out and about on the farm and in town. Your radio chatter WILL be heard (all channels are utilised somewhere) and the whole competition judged accordingly. Please be polite and courteous at all times. Keep transmissions short sharp and to the point with no unnecessary chatter. To legally use the Ham frequencies, you MUST use a callsign for every transmission (which means you MUST have a valid callsign). Leave all gates as you found them, if the gate was open then do not close it. Leave all areas as you found them. Take litter with you (even other peoples). Treat this country area and its people well and you will no doubt be treated the same.

NHGC Cancellation Policy The NHGC club reserves the right to charge an administration fee for cancellation of NHGC competition registration and request for refund. The administration fee is 25% of the competition entry fee. Please note other penalties can incur from a cancellation notice and request to refund less than 1 month prior to the competition commencement date. Refund schedule is as follows: * 1 month prior to the commencement of the competition 75% of the entry fee paid is refunded * 3 weeks prior to the commencement of the competition 50% of the entry fee paid is refunded * 2 weeks prior to the commencement of the competition 25% of the entry fee paid is refunded * 1 week prior to the commencement of the competition 00% of the entry fee paid is refunded. We can transfer your entry in the competition to another pilot for a $20 administration fee. We can transfer your entry to another competition for $20 administration fee, plus any cancellation fee incurred on the above timeline. With Aero-tow competitions the cancellation policy does apply to tow fees, once paid, if you decide to leave during the competition. Please note in exceptional circumstances partial refunds will be considered.
